Frequently Asked Questions

Surely you can't learn 4 systems in 2 days?

Yes, is is and bear in mind that we keep our class sizes low (generally between 6 and 8 people) who work in pairs applying the techniques that have been demonstrated by your tutor. This means that there are only 3 to 4 working students at one time and hence more one-to-one tutor time is available to each student. Furthermore, the continual assessment format means that tutors are always with and around you - contstantly helping with advice, hints and tips. Our focus is on applied and practical teaching methods.

In fact, many of our students have asked the same question and leave after the two days with comments such as, "I didn't think it was possible to learn that much in two days".

How do I book a course with you?

There are several ways to book a course with us. Firstly, for each course you wish to book you'll need to pay a deposit - the amount depends on the course. You can pay this by cheque or debit/credit card either via the telephone or soon via this website. If paying by cheque we need to receive this at least 10 days before the course starts.

Secondly, the balance can be paid either by cheque (must be received 7 days prior to course start); credit/debit card which needs to be processed around 2 days before the course. Please note that we do not process card payments at the course venue as this can take some time which can be otherwise devoted to your training.

Where are your venues?

We select venues around the UK which we feel are comfortable and conducive to learning the skills and techniques of your specific course.

Can I get insurance?

Yes, absolutely. Providing you pass your course you will be able to obtain industry insurance. Our courses are accredited through Professional Beauty Direct.

If I come on the course do I automatically receive my certificate?

No, this is not a turn up and qualify course; you must pass the course. Although there are no exams to take your tutor will continually assess your work through the nail course and inspect your workmanship and quality so that it reaches and exceeds the standards required.

Should a student fail to pass the course or course module, they will be offered the opportunity to attend one more course/module 'free of charge' to build up their skills and obtain their certificate.
